Package: aptitude
Version: 0.4.10-1+b2
Severity: minor
I'm using aptitude with sudo and I always get those messages
with aptitude is running installation :
perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
LANGUAGE = (unset),
LC_ALL = (unset),
LANG = "en"
are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory
How to get a good environment for it ?
I don't want to have LANG= set in /etc/environment. I have LANG= set in
~/.bash_profile and only there.
Cheers,
M.
