I don't know anything about entrance. Does it run Xsession at all? Can you tell if any of the scripts in /etc/X11/Xsession.d get run? For instance, Does /etc/X11/Xsession.d/90x11-common_ssh-agent start an ssh-agent process for you? thanks, stew
