No. Multipage creates a single document with all pages, save mode
creates one document per page. Because you're scanning a pile of docs
in one row doesn't mean you want to create one big document.
OK, but you do agree that it shouldn't have hung and that it is
confusing that there is no indication that filling in more than '1' in
viewer mode is not useful? Maybe that widget should be disabled if xsane
is not in "save" or "multipage" mode?
(That at least sounds like a good idea to me to ask upstream...)
