I thought you were the maintainer and upstream author. Who else would be working on this? Was this comment supposed to go to another package? packagesearch has been crashing at the drop of a hat for me for months (basically, whenever I leave it up for awhile and then come back to it). Recently aptitude has become very insistent about giving it the boot, probably because of an upgrade to the apt tools.
