You're running dnsmasq, which groks IPv6 fine.
If you try with a default installation of pdnsd, you get,
Failed: Bad server ip
To reproduce:
# aptitude install resolvconf pdnsd
and make sure run_ipv4 is specified as yes in /etc/pdnsd.conf.
