Yes, very much agreed. Currently, if you install a Debian standard system this 
is the only service that opens up a port to the network. While there's 
obviously a use for it, this seems far from widely applicable in nowadays 
world. Going from >0 to 0 open services on a Debian standard install brings 
us significantly closer to being "secure by default".

Please let me know if you agree with this. I'm willing to pursue getting it 
changed if you're out of time, please let me know.
