No, it wouldn't be a hell, but downgrading back to testing later may be a bit of a hell :) I just decided to build some drivers for testing for people like you. Just take the .deb at http://people.debian.org/~bgoglin/rebuilds/intel-2.2.0.90-Xserver1.3/ install them (with dpkg -i foo.deb) and let me know if they help. > I noticed 2.2.0.90-3 is trying to enter testing, but is not considered > due to depends on xorg-server. > Yes, the drivers from unstable only work with xorg-server from unstable because of an ABI change in the Xserver between testing and unstable. That's why we needed to rebuild a package for you. As long as xorg-server has some big bugs preventing it from entering testing, the new drivers won't enter testing either. It has been the case for several months already. > BTW Do you mean I can not open a second session, or just that the second > session can not use DRM and DRI? > I meant no DRI/DRM only. You can have many X sessions as long as they don't try to shared DRI/DRM. Brice -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
