Package: ffmpeg Version: 0.cvs20070307-6 Severity: normal I was surprised when mpeg2video encoder was removed, but as it's a patent issue there's not much to be done. My query today has to do with the mpeg2video decoder. Is it also patented, or is its disappearance a side effect of removing the the encoder?
