Entering an UTF-8 string with multi-byte characters causes the cursor to move to the right one extra space per extra byte beyond the first. In other words, typing 'ÃÃÃ' leaves the cursor three columns after the last 'Ã'. This can be reproduced, for instance, in the search input field; note that the search still works as expected. - -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-ck6 Locale: LANG=es_AR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_AR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages most depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-21 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii slang1a-utf8 1.4.9dbs-8 The S-Lang programming library wit - -- no debconf information -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFCe4J5823633cP2P8RAgURAKCY+WOCXfVwiD2nNMWPCYO4/pcfrwCfTAr8 khbfKUi4DbRvwTO6E9RrwYI= =Ef9e -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
