Hi,
because ALSA modem driver does not work in recent kernel, I had to
go back to sl-modem-source driver.
I recognized that one has changed the init script and broke the
slamr kernel module check in line 118.
Please see the difference:
------------------------8<----------------------8<-----------------------------
neo:~# if ! modprobe slamr 2>&1 | grep -v not.found;then echo failed;fi
failed
neo:~# if ! modprobe slamr ;then echo failed;fi
neo:~#
------------------------8<----------------------8<-----------------------------
I changed it back to the old line and it works for me.
Please test such changes in detail, before ditribute it.
Kindly regards,
Erik
