i think it is worth the effort. this dependency makes the system less modular (since the user has to install extra packages that they will never need). it also makes the system less secure since there are more potential failure points (as can be seen currently with the mysql security issues). the extra dependencies also use more disk space than necessary. its actually really not that difficult to set up another binary package. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
