There have been many suggestions for Unidecode over the years, and yours
is absolutely the first one that is actually good. Very good, in fact.
And I have no idea why I didn't do it that way from the beginning.
So I (hereby) promise to do this for the next release.
But, I apologize in advance: the next release might be months away-- I
haven't even touched the Unidecode files for at least five years now, so
I can't even guess how I'll go about merging the many new Unicode and
Unihan updates into my old data files. But your excellent idea will be
my excuse to try doing this.
