I replaced /etc/init.d/hwclock.sh and /etc/init.d/hwclockfirst.sh by the maintainer's versions (under synaptic's request), and I see no difference: # hwclock --systohc select() to /dev/rtc to wait for clock tick timed out Why did you close the bug?
