I'm not sure whether this is important, but I noticed some errors and/or warnings on the console (stdout or stderr, not sure) while running smc: Error loading image : /usr/share/games/smc/pixmaps/maryo/ice/dead_right.png Reason : Error loading image : /usr/share/games/smc/pixmaps/maryo/fire/dead_right.png Reason : Error loading image : /usr/share/games/smc/pixmaps/maryo/big/dead_right.png Reason : Error loading image : /usr/share/games/smc/pixmaps/maryo/ghost/dead_right.png Reason : Error loading image : /usr/share/games/smc/pixmaps/enemy/turtle/green/turn_1.png Reason : Error loading image : /usr/share/games/smc/pixmaps/enemy/turtle/red/turn_1.png Reason : Error loading image : /usr/share/games/smc/pixmaps/enemy/bosses/turtle/turn_1.png Reason : Waypoint Front line not detected Waypoint Front line not detected Waypoint Front line not detected The errors seem to be non-critical, at least I was able to play parts of the first level without problems.
