Package: emacs22-gtk Version: 22.1+1-2.3 Severity: normal I often use CUA mode rectangle selections (bound to C-RET by default) to type the same characters at the same positions on multiple lines. This works perfectly with ordinary characters; however, it does not work with quoted-insert (bound to C-q by default). Attempting to use quoted-insert will end rectangle selection and insert the character at point only.
