I'm using an UTF-8 locale. Revelation is messing up the UTF-8 characters in my entries. Apparently every time I save the file, the characters get converted to the byte equivalents, which in turn turn into their own byte equivalents upon the next save. For instance, I entered the word "nÃmero" in the description and after a few sessions it appears now as "NÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂmero." Similar problems happened in other entries. After many sessions, it becomes too long, so I have to clean them up frequently (actually, I just removed these non ASCII characters for now). - -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-ck6 Locale: LANG=es_AR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_AR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages revelation depends on: ii gconf2 2.8.1-5 GNOME configuration database syste ii gnome-icon-theme 2.8.0-4 GNOME Desktop icon theme ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.4-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnomeui-0 2.8.1-3 The GNOME 2 libraries (User Interf ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.4-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii python 2.3.5-2 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-gnome2 2.6.1-1 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii python-gtk2 2.6.1-2 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge ii python2.3-crypto 2.0+dp1-2 cryptographic algorithms and proto ii python2.3-libxml2 [libxml2-py 2.6.16-7 Python 2.3 bindings for the GNOME ii shared-mime-info 0.15-1 FreeDesktop.org shared MIME databa - -- no debconf information -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFCeFEJ823633cP2P8RAgYwAJ0YhR6WWZgMAGdDhWT1AaLB0YFlQwCdFv+I H396LUSIxOY1dzej8i8ac5g= =wifU -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
