Package: libgems-ruby1.8 Version: 1.0.1-4 Severity: normal
When I install gems under 1.8/1.9, any files in their bin directory are processed and copied to /usr/bin with a #! line added for the appropriate ruby binary. If the gem is uninstalled, the script is left there. If I install a gem under 1.8, then under 1.9, the 1.8 version of the script is overwritten with the 1.9. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.23.8-jh (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libgems-ruby1.8 depends on: ii libopenssl-ruby1.8 1.8.6.111-2 OpenSSL interface for Ruby 1.8 ii libruby1.8 1.8.6.111-2 Libraries necessary to run Ruby 1. ii rdoc1.8 1.8.6.111-2 Generate documentation from Ruby s Versions of packages libgems-ruby1.8 recommends: ii rubygems 1.0.1-4 package management framework for R -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
