I know that in the past, the priority of wireless-tools was set to extra
because the ftp-masters decided that wireless stuff wasn't that common.
However, today it is, and there are a number of reverse dependencies on
libiw29, the list is:

xsupplicant wmwave wlassistant wireless-tools network-manager netapplet
libiw-dev kwlan kwifimanager knemo ifrename guessnet gnome-system-tools
gnome-main-menu conky

It also seems strange that a package which provides udebs for the
installer has priority extra.

If the priority of libiw29 is changed, please also change that of the
wireless-tools binary package, since there are also some important
reverse dependencies on that one:

atmel-firmware madwifi-tools wpasupplicant wlassistant wifi-radar
whereami pcmciautils network-config linux-wlan-ng kwirelessmonitor
kwifimanager knemo kismet ion3-scripts ifrename education-laptop
aircrack-ng
