frame-parameters is a function, but not interactive, so you cannot
invoke it with M-x. You could paste the following line
(last (frame-parameters))
into the *scratch* buffer and type C-j with the cursor at the end of the
line. That will print the value into the buffer.

I would not trust that information, I get the same output from xfsinfo
but I'm positive that xfs _is_ running here.

All right, now I see I have that package and the nimbus fonts too. But
Emacs does not care about them.
