Package: mysql-gui-tools Version: 5.0~rc12-2 Usertags: ftbfs-gcc-4.3 Your package fails to build with GCC 4.3. Version 4.3 has not been released yet but I'm building with a snapshot in order to find errors and give people an advance warning. GCC 4.3 has converted a number of warnings into errors. With GCC 4.3, you're no longer allowed to put spurious text after preprocessor directives, such as #else and #endif. See http://www.cyrius.com/journal/gcc/gcc-4.3-pedwarn.html
You can reproduce this problem with gcc-snapshot from unstable. Note that Red Hat, Novell and Ubuntu have done some work getting packages to build with GCC 4.3 so there might be patches floating around somewhere. I suggest you talk to your upstream. > Automatic build of mysql-gui-tools_5.0~rc12-2 on em64t by sbuild/amd64 0.53 ... > x86_64-linux-gnu-g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../../.. -I../include > -I../../../library/utilities/shared_include > -I../../../library/utilities/include -I../../../library/sql-parser/include > -I/usr/include/mysql -DBIG_JOINS=1 -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 > -I/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/libxml2 -Wall -c myx_query.cpp > -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/myx_query.o > In file included from myx_query.cpp:21: > ../include/myx_query.h:72:8: error: extra tokens at end of #endif directive -- Martin Michlmayr http://www.cyrius.com/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
