I have to use the older version of this package, as all newer versions of the nvdia-packages let my system unexpectly freeze. This might be related to nvidias or xorgs new ABI, I do not know. There is a bugreport about this behaviour sent by me. Anyway, according to this, I need the older packages get compiled, otherwise it is no use for me, to upgrade to a newer kernel. Sorry for that !
