Linux-image-2.6.18-5-686 is linux-kernel of etch.
If you want to use linux-uvc by this kernel, you should use "0.1.0. svn54-3".
Could you use this version?
BTW, What do you want to use UVC device?
Could you teach vender ID and device ID of it?
