After a suspend to disk or RAM, knetworkmanager typically does not reconnect by itself to a known wireless network in range. Symptoms vary : - sometimes (but not always) when right-clicking on the tray icon, the wireless interface is not shown and one has to go to off-line mode and back to make it reappear - then it takes a few seconds before the networks in range are shown - then even though there is a known network in range, it does not reconnect automatically and I have to right-click on the icon tray and select the name in the list. Often I have to do this twice before the running gear appears (the first click seems to be ignored). In the end I often have to do a number of manipulations before being connected again, which defeats a bit the purpose of NM. There is no such problem with the wired network. For info my wireless driver is ipw3945 from Debian package 2.6.22+1.2.2-2.
