Package: libpcap0.8 Version: 0.8.3-5 Severity: normal pcap_stat resets the dropped packet count (when running on Linux 2.6). This is not documented in the manpage, and it's likely that it's not intended (I think libpcap behaves differently when running on BSD's BPF).
