I don't exactly agree with that analysis. Most of the previous templates mention "Request Tracker" and only that one, which is only displayed in few cases, mentions "RT". I don't really think it's worth the pain of another translation round for this. "Request Tracker" is properly expanded in many places, including the package description where the acronym is even explained.
