Package: uswsusp Version: 0.3~cvs20060928-7 Severity: normal I just installed uswsusp. During installation I got the message:
Your kernel doesn't support userspace software suspend Your kernel doesn't support userspace sofware suspend. Please reconfigure your kernel to include CONFIG_SOFTWARE_SUSPEND=y and recompile. 3 problems: 1) Grepping through my Linux .config, there doesn't seem to be a CONFIG_SOFTWARE_SUSPEND option. (there is a CONFIG_SUSPEND option) 2) The message above is shown twice when installing the package. Once should be enough. 3) You misspelled "software" as "sofware" Regards, Thue -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.23.1 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_DK.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_DK.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages uswsusp depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.16 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.6.1-1+b1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcrypt11 1.2.4-2 LGPL Crypto library - runtime libr ii libgpg-error0 1.4-2 library for common error values an ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-6 compression library - runtime Versions of packages uswsusp recommends: ii initramfs-tools 0.90a tools for generating an initramfs -- debconf information: uswsusp/compute_checksum: false * uswsusp/no_snapshot: uswsusp/suspend_loglevel: uswsusp/no_swap: uswsusp/early_writeout: true uswsusp/image_size: uswsusp/compress: true uswsusp/create_RSA_key: false uswsusp/snapshot_device: uswsusp/RSA_key_file: /etc/uswsusp.key uswsusp/max_loglevel: uswsusp/resume_device: uswsusp/shutdown_method: platform uswsusp/encrypt: false uswsusp/splash: false uswsusp/RSA_key_bits: 1024 uswsusp/continue_without_swap: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
