Package: tunapie
Version: 2.1-1
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

I wanted to install the tunapie package just out of curiosity and was shocked that aptitude intented to install ~60 additional packages on my system. The new preset behaviour of aptitude and apt-get is to install recommended packages by default. None of the packages that tunapie recommends are needed to try out the software or use it as a simple program guide for web radio/tv. If you'd like to tell the users that it will be helpful to have vlc, streamripper and audacious installed and that they add to the usability of tunapie, a Suggests: would be appropriate.

Then I don't understand why you suggest audacious, but not rhythmbox or exaile?
Why do you suggest vlc, but not totem or mplayer?
If this is only your personal preference, then please consider removing the suggestions at all or mention them in the package description in the form of e.g. 'an audio player' or 'a video player'.

Thank you!

Cheers,
Fabian
