Package: gettext
Version: 0.16.1-2
Severity: normal
File: /usr/bin/autopoint

Autopoint contains this (as well as some other CVS references):

# The requirement that the user must have the CVS program available is not
# a severe restrictions, because most of the people who use autopoint are
# users of CVS.
#
# Check availability of the CVS program.
(cvs -v) >/dev/null 2>/dev/null || func_fatal_error "cvs program not found"

This is a royal pain in the ass for people who no longer use CVS, please
ask upstream to remove it. I also note that there is a new upstream,
perhaps it has fixed this issue, please package it for sid/experimental.
