Package: crm114 Version: 20050415-3 Severity: normal Hi,
Older versions of crm114 used to provide /usr/bin/crm114, with /usr/bin/crm as a symbolic link. Upstream has decided that crm114 is too long to type, and renamed the binary crm; however, that was not a problem with debian packages. The ideal patch would be to continue providing both /usr/bin/crm, and /usr/bin/crm114, for smooth upgrades. As it stands, mail filtering breaks on hosts upgrading to the new version, and for no discernible reason; it is not as if /usr/bin/crm114 can conflict with other packages. Indeed, a NEWS file is not adequate substitute for gratuitously breaking compatibility from previous Debian versions. Please continue to also provide /usr/bin/crm114, even of that is a link. manoj -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11.2-skas3-v8-rc2 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages crm114 depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-21 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libtre4 0.7.2-1 regexp matching library with appro ii procmail 3.22-11 Versatile e-mail processor -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
