Package: n Severity: wishlist File: minc Hello,
there were several new versions published by upstream since the version that is presently distributed by Debian was released. It might be the case that you intent to stick to version 1.5 because it seems that version 2.0 was developed in parallel and I guess there is an ABI change which might break some of your applications. But even in this case it seems preferable to package version 1.5.1. Moreover if you have reasons to stick to the 1.5 series of minc we have to find a way to package 2.0.x in parallel because we need this as precondition for BioImageSuite. BTW, what do you think about group maintainance of the Debian-Med packaging team and checking in your packaging stuff in the Debian-Med SVN? Kind regards Andreas. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (501, 'testing'), (50, 'unstable'), (5, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
