You don't need to tag it.  The version tracking takes care of that.

The bug is marked as closed in version 1.2.2.  If you look at the bug list 
affecting etch, it still shows as open.

Frankly, if you use Slony 1.2.1 in production, you're crazy.  The releases 
1.2.2 through 1.2.11 weren't just made for amusement.
