Package: uw-imapd
Version: 7:2002edebian1-6.1
Severity: minor

Hi Jonas,

The following debconf message is a bit confusing:

"Configuring uw-imapd

The ports selected for enabling may be overriden by locally configured
services. By default the port selection is respected only on initial
installs, and is ignored on later reconfiguration.

Do you want to ignore possible local tweaks and always use selected
ports?

Enforce port selection?

<Yes> <No>"

Several things here:

1) what ports are we talking about here, TCP ports?

2) "selected for enabling" - for enabling what?

3) "on initial installs" - is it possible to have more than one
"initial" install?

4) Why two questions? It is confusing even if the answer to both is the
same (in this case I have to think about what each question is asking.)

5) Where are the local tweaks configured? Maybe it's worth to mention
this in the question? What about the default port configuration, is it
worth to mention it in this question?

I suggest the wording in the question is revisited based on the 4
comments above.

Thanks!

Eloy.-
