Package: traceroute
Version: 2.0.9-2
Severity: important

Hi,

The tcptraceroute manpage does not properly document the parameters
it takes.

>From the tcptraceroute binary, you get:
Usage: /usr/bin/tcptraceroute [-hvnFSAE] [-i dev] [-f furst_ttl] [-l length]
        [-q nqueries] [-t tos] [-m max_ttl] [-p src_port] [-s src_addr]
        [-w wait_time] host [dest_port] [length]

The manpage just says:
       traceroute [-46dFITUnrAV] [-f first_ttl] [-g gate,...]
               [-i device] [-m max_ttl] [-p port] [-s src_addr]
               [-q nqueries] [-N squeries] [-t tos]
               [-l flow_label] [-w waittime] [-z sendwait]
               [-UL] [-P proto] [--sport=port] [-M method] [-O mod_options]
               host [packetlen]

       tcptraceroute [options]

[...]
tcptraceroute is equivalent to traceroute -T
[...]
       -p port
[...]
For TCP specifies just the (constant) destination port to con-
              nect.

So, reading the manpage you'd think that tcptraceroute -p would get you
the destination port, but instead it gives you the source port.
