It was not implied that the pages were read using less(1). There is no
need for "/" when you can use your eyes for skimming up to down to spot
the position right away.

This contradicts the de facto convention that people are used to in
popular Unix programs.

Please please provide proper subheadings that give meaning to your
referred groupings.
