i haven't yet, but i would really like to try, still. i worked a bit last week to see if i could reproduce this in qemu (so i wouldn't need to do the whole reboot/flash/reinstall-kernel thing so many times), but without luck. it could be that the qemu instance didn't work because it was a different kernel subarchitecture (it doesn't provide an ixp4xx one), or because the devices i setup (loopback based files that were a couple hundred megs) were not big enough to trigger it. i'll try and look at it more this weekend. sean
