Hi Ola, I doubt debreaper itself is of interest here. This is the utility that detects program crashes and invokes reportbug automatically. This is probably similar to the process in which stack dumps used to be generated, i.e. it only begins after the original program is doomed.
I currently use xrealvncviewer instead, but when I have some spare time I'll rebuild x4vncviewer and try to replicate the crash. Thanks a lot, Yair.
