Thanks for the info :) It seems that the alsa people don't force a progress on https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=3360 ? From my point of view it is not reasonable to patch Debian packages, which of course will break 32bit only sound cards. So we've to find a way to force a solution directly on alsa-devel.
