Package: crypt++el
Version: 2.92-1
Severity: normal

Hi Mario,

I'm not familiar with crypt++.el, but it seems to me that

- it has not been changed upstream since Jan 2003 (nearly five years)

- there are two *old* "important" severity bug against the Debian
  package, neither of which show any response from either you or the
  previous maintainer.

- crypt++.el's functionality can be provided by jka-compr and easypg.
  Both packages (the former is part of Emacs) are actively maintained.

Is it time to drop crypt++.el from Debian?
