Package: kinput2-common Version: 3.1-9 Severity: wishlist
Hello, I'm trying to reduce number of network services visible from outside world on my box. As a result, I've discovered that kinput2 binds/listens to all available IP addresses. It is an unnecessary security risk to expose a service which isn't supposed to be used from outside (in my case). It would be nice if there was a way to limit IPs it listens on (would only be 127.0.0.1 in my case). -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (600, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-686 Locale: LANG=ru_RU.KOI8-R, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.KOI8-R (charmap=KOI8-R) Versions of packages kinput2-common depends on: ii im-switch 1.14 Input method switch framework kinput2-common recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
