Did not have much time for testing yet, sorry. The last your patch for polipo 0.9.12 worked, I have not noticed any crashes after applying that. Maybe this information will help you to reproduce the bug: I am using pdnsd as the DNS cashing proxy. The site I was getting crashes most often was this one: http://www.rbc.ru/ Usually only several reloads were enough to pull a crash.
