On a side note, the mozilla-firefox-de-de locale conflicts only with higher upstream versions, so all internal debian-specific releases of firefox dont break the firefox-locale: Depends: mozilla-firefox (>= 1.0-3), mozilla-firefox (<< 1.0.999) Perhaps you can do that also for your mozilla-locale package, but I am not the expert here :) > I prepared a new package, will upload tonight.
