Oh, well, apparently I haven't tried too hard to reproduce it with Epiphany! ;-) I hope the bug gets fixed soon in Debian unstable (and then in Debian testing, through migration). I see in the #404759 buglog that it's already fixed in upstream 1.9 branch of xulrunner...
