Second, it seems that the Emacsen aspell support of dictionaries-common is already quite mature. Third, why should the developers be careful with the references to aspell left in the document? I am sorry for filing a bug report instead of trying to change the sources directly in CVS (in particular because I am the first author of the document :-) but I have not followed closely the development of dictionaries-common lately, so I prefer to discuss the issues through the BTS.
