I googled a litle bit, and it seem to be very sure, this error is caused by the binary part of NVidias driver.
There is a discussion on the Nvidia-page, which describes exactly the bug 443674. And it is proved, this is not a Debian related problem. So my suggestion: As 100.14.11 and 100.14.19 are the buggy versions, and 100.14.09 is running stable, you might create a package, which might use the newest xorg-drivers (7.3 and higher) , but still using 100.14.09. (i.e. nvidia-glx-hold-100.14.09 with dependencies to the newest xorg-drivers, you know what I mean). At the moment I see no other way, as every apt-get upgrade could break the whole system. Kind regards Hans At the moment I see no other way, how to get out of this pain. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
