According to the follow-up in: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2007-September/196556.html current zaptel 1.4 SVN solves this. Thanks for the quick feedback. I can get ztdummy.c from there in a patch, but I rather just wait a week or so until 1.4.6 is released. Note, however, that elsewhere in the thread Chris Nestrud reported he had the same issues with kernel 2.6.21 .
