Cool: I didn't know about the ignore file. Maybe I'll use it to shut up
warnings about . files and snort...

I reviewed the changes, and have a few suggestions.

First, the proposed revision is still a bit confusing to me.
"This configuration file specifies which module checks (see .B
MODULES below) are run through .B Tiger_Check variables which
can be either .B Y (run the check) or .B N (do not run the
check)"
This made me think that Tiger_check was a system that actually ran the
checks--not the intended sense of "through." How about (with suitable
use of italics or other formatting)
"For each module specified below (see .B MODULES) there is a
corresponding variable in the configuration file that determines whether
the module is run. For module xxx the variable is Tiger_check_xxx,
which should be set equal to Y to run, or N to skip."

Second, "You can configure .B tiger to your by adjusting the" is
missing a word, e.g. "to your PREFERENCES". But it would be simpler to
drop a few words: "You can configure tiger by adjusting the".

Finally, unrelated to the documentation, I notice the default tigerrc
has all of the Tiger_Running_Procs variables commented out (just
installed -24). This means someone who installs it is bound to get a
warning about that variable being missing. It might be better to turn
on some default value (even if empty).
