Package: console-tools
Version: 1:0.2.3dbs-65
Severity: normal

Hello,

(I do not use X.)

When installing Etch, console used unicode; when moving to Sid,
console kept on using unicode. But since a recent upgrade, console
does not use unicode anymore. I have to call unicode_start by hand.

$ cat /et/environment
LANG="fr_FR.UTF-8"

$ locale charmap
UTF-8

Locales are generated properly.

Thanks,
