After having backported the lock fix to Etch's version (and with the old version workrave does not crash on quit) I guess gnome-screensaver and workrave battle for the keyboard and/or mouse grab. After the rest break is over unlocking of the gnome-screensaver spawned by workrave (with my patch) works just fine. It's just broken when the rest break is still running (and of course there is no way to see when the break is over). It seems that Ubuntu had some reports about that, so it's possible that they know a solution in their bug tracker or that upstream knows something about it. The patch works, I'm only sad that I still cannot use it. Kind regards, Philipp Kern Debian Developer
