Package: whizzytex Version: 1.3.0-5 Severity: normal Hello,
the pdf viewing solution of whizzytex is not usable as is. I tend to think that this is a side-effect of the switch to livetex. The problem is that whizzytex tries to call the tool pdfinitex, which does not exist anymore on my box. I can happily use whizzytex+pdf with the following patch (using the default $INITEX, ie initex, instead of pdfinitex when passed the -pdf argument): --- /usr/lib/whizzytex/whizzytex~ +++ /usr/lib/whizzytex/whizzytex @@ -163 +163 @@ - INITEX=pdfinitex +# INITEX=pdfinitex Thanks for your time, Mt. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.21-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages whizzytex depends on: ii advi 1.6.0-12 an active DVI previewer and presen ii emacs21 [emacsen] 21.4a+1-5.1 The GNU Emacs editor ii texlive-latex-base 2007-10 TeX Live: Basic LaTeX packages whizzytex recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
