Because this is not the fault of gnucash, the RC issue is in g-wrap.
gnucash is just the victim.

GnuCash is usable if you can revert to the version of g-wrap in
testing. I'm running it now with:
$ cat /etc/apt/preferences
Package: g-wrap
Pin: version 1.9.6-3.2
Pin-Priority: 1001

Package: guile-g-wrap
Pin: version 1.9.6-3.2
Pin-Priority: 1001

i.e. there isn't anything wrong with gnucash and if g-wrap had
transitioned properly, the g-wrap binary would not have been upgraded
to 1.9.9 on your system until gnucash could use libgwrap-runtime2
instead of libgwrap-runtime0. With the correct dependencies set in
g-wrap, this whole gnucash problem would have been avoided cleanly.
